I am just very curious, though I know what curiousity did to the proverbial cat and the cat had nine lives.ut all thsame

I want to know every connection going on at my backround. I ran some commands at the DOS promt like netstat -a,
netstat -n, netstat -anb.I wan t more information on the wellknown port numbers and the other port numbers above 1023.
My intention is to fish out abnormal connections possible and intruder. check out the captures below.

A guy ejected my CD rom while we were chating from Kolkata, I want to be more vigilant.

I find it difficult inserting the capture of the dos command
an assistant will be welcomed

thanks

Hi sose,

He is able to eject your CD rom because you not done the Hardening for your windows. Windows by default will not come with the hardening as linuk.

You can use the windows task manger to see what processes is running on your system. Tuneup utilities, Magic utilities are some GUI tools which is very good than windows taks manager.

The better way to protect is to harden your windows. Find the below mentioned URL to harden your workstation.
