Here is a project that is developing benign code to test your AV/Malware Software to ensure its picking stuff up. There has been a test Viral program called EICAR going around for years and years now (i think thats the one Sophos uses to check its software is working ok, but don't quote me on that). Anyhow, take a look here

Very interesting. I have used the EICAR file in the past, but I think for the most part I just assume everything is working. Bad habit. Spycar should help...

Very interesting, Spycar was an idea Ed Skloudis came up with! We've performed quite a few reviews of Ed Skloudis titles in the past.
