I know I could most likely figure this out on my own, but I don't want to :-)

What is the best way to forward based on the port?

For instance, I have created a static translation between an external IP and a DMZ IP for mail. I also need to have a redirection to the same IP address, but point to a different internal server based on the port.

So, for a connection to 198.111.x.x:25 goto 172.16.x.x
and for a connection to 198.111.x.x:80 goto 10.3.x.x

How should I go about configuring this? Thanks everyone.

This is done the same way (using the static) but give it a different destination address.

Sorry for the short post, i was in a little hurry.

Anyhow, here is the syntax;

[code:1]
static (inside,outside) tcp 198.111.x.x 25 172.16.x.x 25 netmask 255.255.255.255
static (inside,outside) tcp 198.111.x.x 80 10.3.x.x 80 netmask 255.255.255.255
[/code:1]

Cheers

Thanks for the post Smurf. I found some documentation on this, I just wanted to make sure it was accurate and others agreed. Thank you.
