So, have you managed to get the bin file over to the ASA via tftp ? Also, what is the name of the bin file that you are copying ? I have not done anything with the ASA, but i can tell you from the Pix front, you can specify severl image files that the appliance will try and load one by one until one loads succesfully.

If you do not have the asa722-k8.bin file on disk0 then this will be causing your issue.

Can you see any bin files on the disk0 ?

Sorry but i have never done a ROMMON updated before but i will try and help. I am just wondering if there is something wrong with Disk0, but lets just go through a few things first.

I have just been reading that you need to perform the steps you have done, then it will load the file into memory. From there, you need to follow the CLI steps to update the image and copy the image to disk0.

I also thought that the ASA had a flash, if you do [code:1]sh flash:[/code:1] you see nothing ?
