Hey Guys,

First of all, thank you for introducing me to the ipcop world. I love my system. This is my issue, i installed a addon called banish. The job of banish is to aid IDS with preventing ip addresses that try to attack your system for ever reaching your system again.

well, i stalled the program, at first it gave me an error saying extract to tmp folder. so i copied the file to the tmp folder extracted it there, then installed it. After installation. I deleted the downloaded tar file, logged into my ipcop machine through the GUI, but when i click on the banish link. The page loads BLANK! what did i do wrong.

Im running IPCOP ver. 1.4.11.

I've not used this addon myself, but most of what it does can be accomplished by editing your /etc/rc.d/rc.local or /etc/rc.d/rc.firewall.local files.

I would try uninstalling it first using the command:
[code:1]/usr/local/bin/[/code:1] before going through the installation process again.
