Hi yall,

I have a question. I have my ipcop box filtering my internet traffic.
Installed URl Filter and Advance Proxy along with a blacklist upload. My question is, when i visit certain cities. My ip address is given out. is thier away for me to proxy my internet access. do i have to but an acctual proxy box. I basically want to hide my ip address.

I think you're confusing the proxy service on your IPCOP with anonymous public servers which are available on the internet. In a sense, your IPCOP's proxy hides your IP, but only the private LAN IP of your local machine. If you want to hide your public IP (assigned by your ISP), you will need to use a publically available anonymous proxy server or this useful tool.

can i install tor on the ipcop box, or just on the computers that access the internet. I'm thinking option two. Thanks for the help again partner. I really appreciate it!
