Greetings all,

I'm preparing a network migration, and for that reason I've added a route entry to the routing table of my CAT6000. I did it the following way:

1. Connected to the MFSC_B (enable and then config)
2. ip route 192.168.0.0 255.255.0.0 192.168.0.1 3
3. To check my entry I did a show ip route

Now I want to clear that entry like this:

1. Clear IP route 192.168.0.0 255.255.0.0 (tried with and without subnetmask) (enable and config)
2. Check the routing table but the entry is still in there.

Anybody any idea ??

Greetz,

Stefan

Greetings all,

I managed to delete the route using following command:

no ip route 192.168.0.0 255.255.0.0

Cisco site did mention the clear ip route should work, anyway problem solved.

Regards,

Stefan

If the 6000 was running IOS, as opposed to CatOS you would need to use "no ip route....." Maybe Cisco was talking about a higher model?
A scapegoat is often as welcome as a solution...never memorize what you can look up.
