Let me explain our present network setup

we are having an internet connection from an ISP and the traffic flow is as below

cisco 3662 --- pix515-- summit48 switch---LAN

we have pix to pix IPSEC connection to our corportate office in US.
and we have extra cisco 2621 router and pix515.

at present we are expecting a new customer and we would like to have separate isolated LAN for the new customer and this LAN users can only access email server and printserver from the existing old LAN.

could any one let me know what will be best solution for the above setup.. whether to go for subnetting or vlans..

Please let me know how to configure the new setup

thanks in advance

Skiran,

If I have understood correctly, you want this new customer to have access to the following services in your LAN : Email and Print.

Is the following diagram what you need to achieve? :

Cisco3662
pix515
48portswitch---LAN-->-printsrv+email srv
........................(ignore these dots).............|
New customer--->2621--pix;--->

Thanks for the response...

cisco 3662-->pix 515-->48,L3 switch
OLD LAN(print + mail)
|
|__New LAN for new customer
should access print and
mail of old lan and internet
from 3662 router

What i mean to say is we have an extra 2621 router and 515 firewall..
can we have a setup without using 2621 and extra 515 firewall

If i have to use 2621 router and pix515 how should i plan for the new customer LAN

hope this is clear
please let me know if i am not clear.
i am new to this site

Regards
Kiran
