Host cannot access websites , ISP has a DNS server attached to it
iv got a simple layout of the topology below:

LAN ----R1 ----ISProuter----DNS server

R1 = (F/01) 192.168.1.1 & 68.110.171.97 Ser0/0/1
ISP router = (ser0/0) 68.110.171.98 & ( f/01 ) 200.20.121.21
ServePT ip - ( Fast Eternet )200.20.121.22

Under Sever "config tab" iv set DNS www.test.com ip 200.121.12.10

Iv setup NAT as follow:
Ip NAT inside list "NAT-ADDRESS" SER 0/0/1 overload
Access list: named access list "NAT-address" permit 192.168.0.0 0.0.255.255

I have assigned the DNS server on each hosts to 200.20.121.22
Hosts can ping the DNS server address of 200.20.121.22
But they cannot access the websites on DNS server

WHAT IS IT THAT IV DONE WRONG?

Lets make sure that DNS is your problem by confirming you can ping across the net.

Can you ping websites by their IP addresses.

Try: Ping 74.125.225.82

(This is Google by the way. You can use whatever IP you want as long as you know it works and it's not part of your local network.)

Keep in mind all DNS does is do a look up of an IP address based off the known DNS server who can provide it or a link to a bigger DNS server.

"Keep in mind all DNS does is do a look up of an IP address based off the known DNS server who can provide it or a link to a bigger DNS server"

Iv only configured DNS server with the ip addresses it needs to resolve, however i have not configured the Http service for the server in order for the pages to load,

thanx alot
