Hi all,

As described in my last post, I got some surplus ASAs here at work. Problem is, we are issued MacBook Pros here. No serial ports. I have a USB to DB9/serial adapter connected to a Cisco cable into the console port of the ASA. I can't seem to connect to the ASA though. I need to be able to connect to it and then upgrade the IOS.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

This reminds me, I figured it out. With a serial to USB adapter, install the adapter's drivers and then open a terminal window and run the following:

ls -l /dev/tty.*

screen /dev/tty.usbserial
