Can a Sniffer port with port mirror configured pass data traffic?

I'm not sure I fully understand the question, but I would think the port that is being mirrored too can't send traffic.

monitor session 1 source interface Gi4/46
monitor session 1 destination interface Gi3/48

i am going to monitor the traffic from g4/46 through a mirror port g3/48 through a websense. my question is the port g3/48 act only as a monitor port or it can transfer data trafffic

No, the destination port can't handle normal traffic; it's dedicated for monitoring
