Hai,

At home I got a network:
ID:: 10.20.30.96
Range compu's ::10.20.30.97-10.20.30.126
Subnetmask::255.255.255.224
Broadcast ::10.20.30.127
modem at::10.20.30.125 (inside)
modem at::80.60.139.9 (outside(got it from my ISP))

My problem is that every time I go to the Internet, and my compu recieves a packet's (picture's/scripts/webpages) there come's a pop screen for log in (you know that standard thing from wondows). In the Title there says "Connecting to 80.60.139.9...".

If I press cancel he goes on also If I type my modem password he goes on. But every time pressing Cancel is very iritating!!! :x

I tracked down the problem to my IP Routing Table (I think).
There have re-typed it to this:
#|....destination......|........source........|......gateway.....|.nf
1|..10.20.30.96/27..|.10.20.30.96/27..|.10.20.30.125.|..eth0
2|.......default .........|.10.20.30.96/27..|.80.60.139.9....|..MXS
3|..127.0.0.1/32 .....|.........any............|.127.0.0.1........|..loop
4|..10.20.30.96/27..|.........any............|.10.20.30.125..|..eth0

In theory it must work; nr2 for outgoing; nr1 for inside.

But what can the problem be that I get all the Time that iritating login screen??? an how to fix it? :?:

Already thx

I'm a little confused.. is this some sort of logon client for your provider or is it HTTP authentication (just when you're surfing)

It is just a a HTTP authentication (or some thing)

Then it sounds like your provider is using some sort of http proxy that requires authentication.. you can ask them about it. or check in your internet explorer settings to see if a proxy is configured..

A funny misconfiguration I've seen is where IE is setup to use a proxy (which was doubling as a content filter), however if you just unchecked the proxy setting, you could surf.. completely bypassing the content checking and proxy authentication.

I don't know why it did that.. but you might want to try just disabling the proxy settings and seeing if anything works.

Cheers,
