TOPIC: How do I connect the 15 computers?

How do I connect the 15 computers? 11 years 9 months ago #16993

BIT Medical Supplies is a Medical Equipment supplier based in Kampala, Uganda that recently purchased 15 computers (including a server) and requires networking services. They wish to centralize their accounting software so that it is available to all users on the network. They also want to connect to the Internet. BIT Medical Supplies maintain confidential customer records so network security is of great concern to them.

You have been hired by BIT Medical Supplies to present to them a technical report on how best to proceed with networking their office and connecting to the Internet.

The technical report must contain the following:

A detailed description of the network layout / topology (20 Marks)
A detailed description of how they will access the Internet (20 Marks)
An overview of how security will be handled on the network (5 Marks)
A summary of the hardware required and approximate costs (5 Marks)
A list of references (books, websites, journals etc used when compiling the report)

1) this is the wrong forum, the question should have been on Design Installation and troubleshooting
2) this definitely looks like a project from your university or your school which involves effort on your end, not ours. by the looks of it, you want a short cut to make all of us do your work while all you do is copy paste whatever inputs we put in. i have better plan, why dont you come up with an idea, and all of us will give our inputs on your concepts. :D
