I can't understand, in this day and age Cisco still expect cisco CCNA students to remember all these similar commands to configure a router and a switch. I really find it strange that people put up with it.

Well, that's why its Cisco's certification. They can do what they want with it, and making it harder just makes it more valuable to get. Think about it, if anyone could just sit in on the test and pass, then a CCNA is worthless. Wait until you look at CCNP and CCIE material! :wink:
