Look for the signal rate range for Category 7 UTP??

Category 7 is still a developing standard. As such, the information I give you may change by the time it is actually finalized. Here's some important points to Cat 7:

1.) It will shielded. That means there will not be UTP Cat 7. UTP = Unshielded Twisted Pair. Each pair will be shielded from each other, as well as having a collective shield that will wrap around all the pairs.

2.) Apparently it will use a different type of connector other than RJ-45.

3.) It's maximum operating frequency will be 600 mHz. Compare that to Cat 5e which is 100 mHz, and Cat 6 which is 250 mHz. Here's a chart that compares some other characteristics of Cat 7 to Cat 5 and 6.

Here's some more info about Cat7 cables :

1. Each pair individual shielded to perform excellent protection against noise.

2.Triple-layer extrusion (Skin/Foam/Skin) on insulation core to perform perfect attenuation.

3.10dB ACR at 600MHZ Positive ACR at 750MHZ.

4.Tested up to 750MHZ 5.LSOH version in conformity with IEC 332.3 Cat.

5.C Fire Retardancy Requirements.

Connectors
TWO Rows RJ45 8P8C Gold Plating 50 u"

Cable Discription Technical
CAT.7" 600MHZ, 4-Pair 23AWG, SSTP, DIN 44312-5 & EN 50288-4

Characteristic Impedance:

100~150 Ohm @ 64 KHZ 85~115 Ohm @1~300MHZ 75~125 Ohm @300~600MHZ

Velocity of Propagation:
0.78C @1~100MHZ

So what kind of transmission speeds (in bps) are we talking about here?

I don't think anything has been finalized yet because they haven't come up with protocols to even fully utilize Cat 6 yet! I think Cat 7 is supposed to be the copper medium for 10 Gigabit Ethernet, or maybe even beyond that.
