Actually, I believe that is what it would do and would give you another level of security.The problem with Wireless devices, is that the Access Point (AP) is inside your firewall and anyone gaining access to your wireless computer or AP would be inside your firewall (making it useless). In your setup, your wireless PC goes to your AP (linksys wireless router) and then the router sends the packets through the firewall to get to your system.This will would allow you to add 3 levels of security (WEP, MAC Filtering, and the firewall).I think that's right.
