asa 5510 memory leak

Hi all,

I recently upgraded my 5510 to ASA 8.2(2) and ASDM 6.2(5) from 7 and 5 so I could take advantage of webvpn.

Ever since then I've had serious memory problems. The ASA is leaking around 1MB per hour.

I've disabled all webvpn related stuff and reloaded several times (which is tough as this ASA is in production at a busy office)

I've checked my procs with "sho proc mem" and found that there is a process called "netfs_thread_init" that seems to be the culprit. I can find no info anywhere on this process though.

Any help much appreciated.

Kind regards,
c:)

Managed to fix this one.

It was all down to a CIFS mount in the File Manager. Seems like there's a big there. As soon as I removed the mount my memory stopped leaking.
