Hi,

We are having a weird issue to access a website outside our LAN. We have 5505 ASA firewall in place and I think all outgoing ports are allowed but we are unable to access the site ends with
https://test:8443
do I need to create a rule or something on the ASA?

Thanks,

asra1857,

You'll need to ensure you have port TCP 8443 allowed through your ASA Firewall. The standard port for HTTPS is TCP/443 however in your case, you are explicitly defining TCP port 8443 for this secure connection.

Thanks,
