Try setting firefox NOT to use a proxy server. Like this:



If it doesn't work, return it back to what it was.

Looks like your admin is running on heavy artillery there. Sorry, websence is a powerfull piece of software, the only effective way of the few ways to get over it as far as I know is to use an encrypted (SSL) session. Since that didn't work (with link above) , the admin probably blocked port 443 (https). I don't know of a better way to over come this. You could try proxy chaining with a proxy server that uses port 80. But thats an involved process and there is no guarantees it will work.

If you can't open your email, then I think thats a good reason to call your administrator and complain about it. If he says that it's a policy, I would be shocked!!
